The Design Process:» Two methods of design are employed depending on the site to be constructed.

Rapid Prototyping:» This method is usually suitable for smaller sites where the client already has clear ideas about form and function and about the objectives of the site. During a visit to your premises we will collect as much data as is necessary for a clear idea about your organisation, the goods and services you provide, and of the functions your web site should fulfill. Promotional and background material is collected as much as possible. Finally, in consultation with you we decide upon a basic concept for the site. The information compiled during this consultation allows us to create a blueprint which is then refined to produce the finished product.

Information Architechture:» This method is most appropriate for more complex sites. The first stage of the process is to select those staff/departments who will provide design input, and to elect a project manager. We then work with your project manager to collect and refine the input from your staff using a combination of multi-stage questionnaires and traditional consultation. We then use this data to construct a written design document which details all the elements of the site design. This design document is then used as the blueprint for the construction of your web site.
